When using artwork from this guide you may either: Use designs directly from the guide on your product Create your own designs using the icons available.

SpongeBob should only appear once in each design.

There are 2 formats for the SpongeBob character poses that you can choose from: Doodle format (a) Silhouette format (b) You can choose whether to add a phrase to the internal shape of the silhouette characters. (c)

Doodles can be made as large or small as you require according to the space you wish to fill. However, we recommend 20 as a minimum number of icons in each Doodle.

You will find that there are three different versions of most compositions available.

We have also recommended a male and female color palette and a mash-up palette option.

Aim to fit icons closely together so they lock around each other. The relationship between each shape can lengthen at the edges or extrusions (outer edges) of a composition. (d)

Please consider the shape and size of your product before applying the graphics.

The doodle may run along the bottom of the product, appear central in a block or as an all-over pattern. You may also wish to use the silhouette shapes as sew-on patches or on pocket areas.

When using phrases within your doodle, please consider the function or your product and the age group you are focusing on. For example, “My pineapple is your pineapple” works well on home-ware products.
