Miami Grind has been enjoyed in the dining commons, retail cafĂŠs, catering operations and concessions since 2015. MU Food and Beverage is proud to announce Miami Grind is available now for purchase at retail locations on campus for enjoying at home and gift giving.

From the beginning, a team of students and staff worked collaboratively with Rooted Grounds Coffee to carefully narrow down the blend to a few select options.

Check out the Miami Grind story featured recently by Food Management magazine.

Wishing everyone the best with spring start up and continued success during the semester.

After a campus-wide taste-testing and vote, a coffee was selected that delivers a unique blend of bold yet smooth flavor. The result is a high-quality, rich coffee that will remind you of such a place and such a life that is sure to get you through the Miami Grind.

Wedding Season at Miami // E V E NT SERV I CES UPDATE

In January Campus Services Marketing and Catering teamed up to tackle the Cincinnati Wedding Showcase at the Sharonville Convention Center. Considered to have the best opportunity for return, Catering has been working a booth at the bridal show for many years. However, it was decided to try something a bit new and we enlisted the support of the Marketing department to review trends and help redesign the booth. By skipping on the flowers and focusing on iconic campus photos Catering was able to create artwork that can be

repurposed for the upcoming redesigned wedding sales room on campus. The booth also included a selfie station that got potential brides visiting the booth for a quick snap. Chef Frank came down to help prepare the little bites for people to sample wares as well. All in all, it was an incredibly successful and engaging weekend! We captured nearly 50 potential leads! Wedding season at Miami here we come!

StrEATS Soup Truck // F OOD & BEV ERAG E UPDATE

In an effort to continue having the food truck as a presence on campus, the Concessions team will be doing a second week of the Soup truck in February. Last semester during finals week we piloted the menu behind Armstrong in Bishop Woods for the lunch hour. Customers had a choice of four different soups and a warm baguette for only $3. We had a good turnout with sales increasing everyday through the week. There was good feedback on the soups as well as the quick service and low price. From February 17-20 the StrEATS truck will be pulling up outside Farmer School of Business from 11am-1:30pm offering a tweak to the soup idea. This time customers will be able to customize their bowl with a variety of bases, proteins, and toppings. Build your own chicken noodle, creamy bacon and potato, or vegan vegetable soup all with a baguette for only $4!
