"I've mostly been working on projects for my room. I repainted it and then added the design above the bed. I also refinished a couple of benches. I needed somewhere to put my office plants. Lol!"
We built a new backyard garden and finished it last weekend.

"I've recently started making jewelry and art."
"Since acting hasn't been feasible during this time I have been doing some voice over work. This included our Miami Student Laptop Presentation for the remote Orientation which was fun!" During our time off I did my whole house spring cleaning. Done a couple craft projects (made a ceiling light out of an antique enamel bowl and made bird feeders out of different items). Also, painted one of our decks and cleaned out the flower beds.

The CS Marketing Team has partnered with University Planning to evaluate new social distancing guidelines for our locations that will insure the safety of our students and staff for fall semester. This evaluation includes developing a signage package that follows the state of Ohio requirements for reopening businesses. Last week we started the process of marking areas on floors that provide distancing information, walking pathways and waiting zones that communicate where people should stand. Information signage (Healthy You, Healthy Miami messaging) will encourage staff and students to use best practices such as hand washing, cough covering and cleaning table areas after eating at dining locations. Certain locations will have furniture and fixtures removed to accommodate for social distancing. All staff members will be provided face masks while working and face shields when 6' of distance can't be achieved. As we get closer to fall semester the Marketing team will continue to provide resources for Campus Services that communicate transparency in our operational practices regarding health and safety.

Remaining Students on Campus // H OUS I N G UPDAT E As we enter summer, the number of students on campus will continue to drop. Over half of the 70 students that have remained here on campus will be leaving by the beginning of July. Only 29 students are choosing to stay until August 7th. Those that stay will remain in the residence halls over at Western Campus and will still have Pulley Diner and Emporium. Thank you to all our staff who are on campus this summer to make Miami home for these students.

All Foods Fit // DI E T I T I AN UP DAT E Following a restrictive diet, setting food rules or making certain foods completely off limits can set you up for failure by making you feel deprived. Adopt the approach of "all foods fit". This involves eating intuitively and giving yourself permission to enjoy all foods. Higher calorie foods such as french fries and pizza can fit into your diet right along with other healthful foods such as lean protein and vegetables. The overall pattern of your eating habits is what's most important.
