Accelerated Second Degree Bachelor of Science in Nursing Offered at the University Center of Greenville
The Accelerated Second Degree Nursing Program is designed for individuals who have already earned a bachelor’s degree from a regionally- or nationally-accredited college or university. This is an intense full-time, 16-month program of study, including rigorous clinical experiences. The program spans four consecutive semesters (Fall, Spring, Summer, and Fall) and leads to a Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree. Admission Requirements: • Bachelor’s degree from a regionally or nationally accredited college or university. • Prerequisite courses must be completed prior to beginning the program of study. • Cumulative undergraduate GPA of at least 3.0 or a GPA of 3.0 or better across the most recent 60 hours of academic work. • Submission of the following: > Unofficial transcripts for informal review. > Online Selection Process Form. > Academic recommendation form. > Essay of one page describing why you have chosen nursing as a profession and what personal characteristics will enable you to be successful in this rigorous program. Included should be longterm career goals. > Resumé of no more than two pages in length. > Formal application to Clemson University.
