TIM SCHYNS Tim always goes the extra mile with any requests that come his way - he's always prepared to pull absolutely any data required for all teams at all times of the day, which he does promptly and with lots of explanation and detail. JEMIMA NUAHMA Jem is something special and her hard work isn't always front and centre as it should be. She works magic behind closed doors and forms meaningful and longstanding relationships with our brands. She is integral to the success of new brand launches forming bonds and going that extra mile to ensure Cult Beauty goes above and beyond. I met the founder of Megababe this week and she sang her praises saying' Cult Beauty has been the dream partner'. it's these words of dedication that show Jem is such a huge asset to the Cult beauty marketing team. OFFICE AND AGILE WORKING At Cult Beauty we believe in fostering a collaborative culture and in the benefits of being together in our office environment. Whilst we understand that working remotely can have its benefits, there are a lot of significant upsides of collaborating with our colleagues in person. Our wonderful workspace will continue to be stocked with free teas and coffee, fruit, and spreads, along with many other treats from time to time to keep everyone fuelled and engaged whilst in the office. Everyone will now need to come to the office a minimum of 3 days a week unless you have an approved remote working request in place. There are no set days so your days can be discussed and approved with your line manager. Please continue to use the desk booking link until we sent out a new format. To ensure managers are aware of where you will be working for the other 2 days a week if you choose not to come in, you'll need to book your remote days on People HR. To do this, go to 'Planner' under your profile, click on 'Other events' on your chosen day:

And click on 'Working from Home' you can write any notes you might want add in the comment box


OFFICE AND AGILE WORKING From 6th of June, we will also be aligning to THGs Group Core Working Hours Policy of 10am - 3pm. This means that you will have the option to work flexibly in your own time outside of these hours, so long as you are fulfilling your minimum contracted hours of 37.5 hours per week. Working times outside of these core hours will need to be discussed and approved with your line manager to ensure workload is covered and managed accordingly across teams. Rose and Maxine are working on a new office seating plan to accommodate our growing teams and strengthen working practices, more to come on that! Lastly, please be conscious of meeting room etiquette and ensure you are only using rooms you have booked. As a reminder, available rooms to book are: The Boardroom (cannot currently be booked on outlook so please leave a note on the door) The Globe ( in front of the CEO office) The Lounge (at the bottom of the stairs) The Redroom (1 floor above reception) The Pod ( the circle space in front of the kitchen) The Compact ( in front of the boardroom)

ANNUAL LEAVE As we are now in June, we wanted to send a gentle reminder to ensure you are using your annual leave and spread it as evenly as possible throughout the year. Taking time to relax and taking a break from work is really important, whether you choose to spend some time at home relaxing or go abroad for on holiday.

Everyone is encouraged to use any accrued (your accumulated balance based on how many months you have worked in the calendar ) by the beginning of July to avoid building up to our busiest months and/or carrying over to 2023. . As usual, we anticipate people not carrying over annual leave, except in exceptional circumstances, namely those who are on maternity, adoption, or shared parental leave. Requests for annual leave carry over will need to be submitted in writing to your line manager before the end of October, will be considered on a case-by-case basis and need to be approved by Fran Elliot.

Additionally, we are now aligning with the Beauty Divisions holiday parameters for blackout periods during peak which are as follows: • October – 1 or 2 days holiday at a time can be taken, no full weeks off. • November – No holidays as this is our peak period. • December – 1-2 days max before Christmas week. You'll have the option to work from home during this time. As usual, please continue to submit your annual leave requests in People HR as well ahead of time as possible to avoid disappointment if others are off in the team at the same time and the request can't be accommodated.
