Bloomsbury Place was inspired by some of England’s most famous writers and artists of the early 1900’s. England was bursting with creativity, a renaissance of new styles of Architecture. Artistic freedoms of expression had started to change our landscape. This period was known as the Arts and Crafts Movement which stood for traditional craftsmanship using simple forms. We have designed these 4 bedroom homes with this very much in mind, with details often felt lost in a bygone era. However, the flow of the design of each house reflects how we love to live today. The houses are named after three creative icons. A set of close friends who called themselves the artistic lions.

Many of the original trees have been carefully preserved including Oak, Scotts Pine, Beech and Silver Birch. To these will be added new plantings of Maple and Hornbeam as well as a large variety of tall and ground hugging shrubs. Both the front and rear gardens will be laid to lawn with off-street parking for all three houses.

A little bit of Paradise. Elmbridge tops survey on best place to live. location Weybridge enjoys a good choice of stylish boutiques and restaurants, is only 30 minutes by train to London Waterloo and has easy access to the M25 and M3. There is an excellent variety of good schools as well as some great golf courses and fitness clubs. No surprise then that in a recent poll organised by the Halifax, residents of Elmbridge, of which Weybridge is an integral part, were voted, for three consecutive years, as having the “Best Quality of Life in Great Britain”. People here are fitter, live longer, earn more and their children do better in exams. They even have better weather, with less than average annual rainfall! This is Britain’s Beverley Hills, home to the rich and famous. Of course it hasn’t always been like that. Once a small village, Weybridge was seemingly bypassed by the bustle of London only a few miles away. That was until Henry VIII made the place fashionable by building a palace for Anne of Cleaves. Indeed for many years Weybridge remained a favourite among the royals; Elizabeth I spent time and money on enhancing the property, James I made Oatlands a favoured home and ill-fated Charles I was imprisoned at Oatlands during the Civil War. Today Weybridge is a great place to live. Close to the attractions of London, good for shopping and for schools and surrounded by beautiful Surrey countryside.
