Springfield est le nom de la ville fictive, dans le célèbre dessin animé satirique Les Simpson. C’est aussi, pour cette référence, le surnom affectueux que le photographe Philippe Conti a donné à Vitrolles, petite ville de Provence, née de l’imagination des urbanistes après la guerre, et porteuse de nombreux espoirs, donnant à ses élus et aux nouveaux habitants, des airs de pionniers. Dans cette série de photos, le photographe porte un regard décalé sur la ville qui, par ses paysages naturels et ses grandes avenues, prend des airs de banlieue américaine. www.philippeconti.com

vec un certain humour, et équipés d’un simple Iphone, nos deux auteurs, matthieu et frederic, fous de bd japonaise, ont rendu hommage au maitre du manga Eiichiro Oda, créateur du best seller « One piece », en déambulant dans le Musée d’Orsay, vitrine de la peinture impressionniste, pour capturer des images d’anonymes transformés en personnages de manga.

In the project Sacred pictures, Matteo Pellegrinuzzi, profoundly influenced by his italian catholic education, refers to Italian baroque art, and especially Caravaggio’s paintings, mixing the play between shadow and light - the famous chiaroscuro with the modern technique of digital photography.
H
e aims to demystify the rules of composition of classical painting, as a very scientific and structured approach, dedicated to sacred art.
In a world where we are constantly being bombarded with images that lose their meaning, he invites us to take the time to observe the result of a process that requires time and preparation, stepping back from our notion of sacred pictures, and seeing the models as human beings -people like everyone else- before Christian saints.
