Addie Heyliger
Business Engagement Manager, CenterPoint Energy/Vice President, Fort Bend ISD Trustee the Fort Bend Independent School Board where she currently serves as the Vice President. When Heyliger is not serving on the school board, she can be found working with the Greater Pearland Area Chapter of the Links Incorporated by partnering with the Boys and Girls Club and facilitating the entrepreneurship program “Be the Boss” for underprivileged children. Heyliger believes that the foundation of a child’s education is their ability to read. She initiated the “Addie’s Read-A-Thon” to support one of the underperforming schools in the district where over 70 volunteers from the community and professional organizations volunteered their time Heyliger has recently won two awards for her service, the Outstanding Texan from the Texas Legislative Black Caucus and the Francis L. Williams Advocacy Award from the Houston Lawyers Association. She is a certified technology professional, having earned her undergraduate degree in Computer Science from North Carolina A&T State University and her Master’s in Business Administration from Texas Women’s University.
