Sharone Mayberry is Founder and CEO of Mayberry Homes, Incorporated. Mr. Mayberry began his career as a homebuilder twenty years ago in the Third Ward Community and has expanded his community development projects to North & South East Houston. Mr. Mayberry is a native Houstonian that attended school and lived in the Third Ward community as a young man and continues to reside in Third Ward with his wife and daughter. Mayberry Homes, Inc. is his contribution to the greater Houston area by working to improve the face of Houston’s surrounding areas. He has received commendations from Fannie Mae Association, Former Council Member Ada Edwards Office, a proclamation from the former Mayor Bill White, along with Congressional Recognitions from Congresswoman Sheila Jackson Lee, Congressman Al Green, and Senator Rodney Ellis and a host of local banking institutions as a minority builder. He is also affiliated with Mac Gregor Area CDC, Re-Ward Third Ward, Guiding Light, and Dr. Esther Compton along with a host of other Community Development Corporations. Mr. Mayberry is quite an enterprising individual; aggressively working to improve the face of Houston’s surrounding communities, building over a hundred homes, prices ranging from $150,000.00 to over $1 million. Sharone Mayberry has helped to remove the stigma associated with inner-city living. He is truly viewed as a pillar in the community with a sense of connection with the people he serves.
