On the evening of Friday, July 27th, Florin Key Club, Franklin Key Club, and Pleasant Grove Key Club membersallgatheredfortheir‘Sunset Luau’ Interclub.Tostartofftheevent, there was an icebreaker called song association whereparticipantshadto recallasong thatcontainedacertain word. The winning group was first in line for the interclub hwachae (Korean fruit punch) bowl! Directly afterwards, those who had brought fruit to contribute to the hwachae were called over. I had brought raspberries and we were filmed introducing ourselvesandthefruitwe hadbroughtwhilepouringitinabowl for a video about the interclub. Following this, we moved on to service stations which included lei making and origami for half an hour ofserviceperitem.Whilewewereat work with our service projects, a fundraiser wasalso announced where there were chicken katsu, macaroni salad plates and drinks being sold. Attendees from all stations went to support their clubs by purchasing food! As the event was coming to a close, weweresurprisedwitha Disney themedKahoot, andthe three players who had scored the highest were given prizes! Overall, I highly recommend attending events like these during the summer, but also during the school year. It is a great way to build strong bonds with Key Club members from throughout the division and, in my opinion, is always a tonoffun!
