On August 12, 2021, Rosemead Key Clubbers had the opportunity to assist with the LA Dodger Foundation Run. The marathon event was the last service event of the summer before the school year began. The service event lasted from 3:00pm through 7:45pm. Volunteers were required to sign a waiver form, medical release form, and a covid waiver form, as well a needing to wear their mask at all times. During LA Dodger Foundation Run, a few of the volunteers prepared bags for the marathon runners that included a shirt, postcard, and a Dodgers bobblehead. Others distributed pins, gave directions and answered anyone with questions. During the break, all helpers received pizza, snacks, and a drink. Towards the end of the shift when all the marathon runners received their bag filled with goodies, all the volunteers took a group picture.
