EDITOR'S
Happy June Red Devils! After all the end-of-the-year school stress, I hope you're all having an amazing summer so far :) Don't forget that service doesn't stop in summer! In fact, summer's a prime time to do service, especially if you're striving to gain a lot of service hours for this term! There's so many service opportunities at this time, so take advantage of all of it! Keep updated on all our division's social medias for new events, contests, and applications! I want to congratulate all the new officers and Division Leadership Team members that were elected for the 2019-2020 term. I wish you all the best of luck and I hope you're all getting ready for this SPICY term! Sizzling with news,

LTG'S Hello Red Devils!
Thank you for checking out this month's newsletter made by our beatiful News Editor Maddie Lugue! I can't express how proud I am of all of you, as we've already done so much for our communities and preferred charities in the span of TWO months, such as raising $200+ for MNT!! It's al most the end of the school year, but that doesn't mean the service should end! The summer will be filled with opportunities to improve your skills as a leader and serve your communities. Even though summer is a time to catch up on sleep, service should never sleep!! Red Devils let's keep this momentum rolling and drive our way to a SPICY term!

On April 12th to April 14th, the California-Nevada-Hawaii District International gathered together at the annual District Convention otherwise known as, DCON... Abby shared her experience saying, “I learned so much and I was inspired to do everything I can to help my community. Not only was it a learning experience, but it was a fun one. I spent a whole weekend with friends, going to dances, shops, and restaurants. It was so amazing and I’ll never forget it!” The experience was more than this though, it was a last minute gathering of our past key clubbers with our new ones making a memory we could never forget.

MS WALK
At the Multiple Sclerosis Walk, everyone helped set up, cheer at the event, and break down. It was amazing to see those who could not even walk participate to show their support. People would raise hundreds of dollars in support of research for multiple Sclerosis. Going to such events show the goodness in humans and what we can do all together if we try. Anya-Mae Nye said, “It was a really fun environment and place that people come together to try and fight a terrible disease. I even got to judge at a dog competition and the dog was beautiful.

DEER VALLEY The DCM was a really fun experience, especially for shy members, who were given the opportunity to be included in activities that would help them come out of their bubble. Icebreakers were incredibly exciting and fun, with many members sharing laughs and smiles, either from comedically embarrassing moments or cracks of jokes. The competitions were also the highlights of the event, as Younis’s victory was very hysterical with his finished time of four seconds and Aldwin getting some of the lemon juice in his eyes. Freedom’s victory was also very funny, mostly in part to when they won, a member of their team threw their arms in the air, breaking off a piece of the ceiling fan, resulting in waves of laughter and red faces. In conclusion, the event was very enjoyable and amazing experience to spend some quality time and catch up with club members we don’t see on a regular basis, while at the same time allowing us to raise money for a good cause.

HERITAGE
HERITAGE NINA BANQUET FLORES
On May 3, Heritage held their annual Key Club banquet to commemorate both the end of the 2018-2019 term and celebrate the upcoming 20192020 term. This acted as a great way to bond with those who have just begun their Key Club journey as we started off the night with the usual ice breakers. Awards were presented to numerous committed officers and members from the previous term, such as most service hours and corresponding awards with each of the four core values. Congratulations to those who were presented with awards and I hope to see many new faces as this new term progresses!
