LTG message from the
Hey Red Devils! I know that most of you just finished your finals, meaning you get to spend two weeks to rest! You all deserve these two weeks, since it’s been an extremely stressful month, and I know some of you may be working on applications, interviews, and more and I wish you the best of luck. Although break just started, make sure your love for service is still burning, since we are all Key Clubbers! The term is ending in 3 months, and it’s end it STRONG! We currently have 7,200 hours and we’re trying to push for 10,000 service hours! Red devils don’t let your flame die out!

Q&A with D26N
WHAT WAS YOUR KEY CLUB MOMENT?
My key club moment would be when i went to this dws last summer from 2018 & i actually had a lot of fun with my friends & met so many new people. That's when i realized key club was for me bc I found a lotta love in helping others (:
Jamie Gonzales, Deer Valley I got my key club moment just recently actually, it was during FRN when Edeline and I were leading cheers with the whole division. Seeing all the hard work I had put into being spirit coordinator and seeing the whole division chant all the cheers including ones that I made felt really special to me.
Aldwin Sangalang, Concord
WHAT ARE YOU MOST LOOKING FORWARD TO FOR THE END OF THE TERM? Finaly seeing how much key clubbers have grown since the start of the term.
Edeline Ong, Heritage

WHY DID YOU JOIN KEY CLUB? I first joined cuz I thought it looked good for college cuz of community service but I ended up staying because of forming close relationships and bonds with the people in it. I also enjoyed helping out in volunteer events since kids are a joy :)
Lyndon Soria, Heritage
WHAT DO YOU ENJOY MOST ABOUT KEY CLUB? The bonding and social aspects of it. I've made so many amazing friends through KEY Club, and everyone's so spirited, kind, and inclusive, it really is just amazing. I just love going to events, not only because it keeps me busy and allows me to see so many different places, but it also let's me spend time with members, which is always fun; telling jokes, playing games, singing, I just love it. Whether it's doing service, cheering, singing, or dancing together, the feeling of unity here is almost unparalleled. Division 26 North really is like a giant loving family, and you can't really find one like this anywhere else. I wouldn't trade them for the world.

QUICKLY FUNDRAISER By: Victor Nguyen Deer Valley On November 13th, 2019, after school Deer Valley High School had their first Wolverine Wednesday of the school year. Here different groups, clubs, and classes would be able to have a table and give out items or food in exchange for donations which will go towards each of their preferred causes. Luckily enough, Deer Valley KEY Club was able to get a table where we gave out boba from Quickly for a donation of $4. Once it all started, we had a long line and the bobas were going out pretty fast. We had three flavors, Taro, Thai, and Okinawa; each with and without boba. The fundraiser was nevertheless a success, as it was a learning experience, as well as a fun and great opportunity for us to raise money towards PTP, which we did, getting a total of $375 in donation,$125 of which went to PTP.

On December 8th, 2019, members of the College Park Key Club collaborated with other clubs in the division to create friendship bracelets and watch movies as a fundraising activity to raise money for DCON. The host was from the Mount Diablo Key Club and was gracious enough to provide pizza and entertainment while everyone created their bracelets.
BRACELET MAKING & MOVIE NIGHT FUNDRAISER
Overall, this experience was quite enjoyable for everyone. Sections of How the Grinch Stole Christmas was played while the club members were creating bracelets before the movie was switched to a horror movie. For some (including me!) we had never created friendship bracelets before. Thankfully, through some skillful use of internet tutorials and generous help from more experienced club members, we managed to create lots of friendship bracelets in time.
