lieutenant governor !

ltg elect !

Hello Grizzlies!

What's roaring grizzlies!

This will be the last time I will be doing this message for you all!

My name is Sebastian Flores and I serve Division 27 North as one of the Executive Assistants and LTG Elect.

It looks like the term is going to end in about two weeks! Are you excited?! You know I am! You all have done amazing this term, and I commend you all for your service. All of you have made my year the best it has ever been. It feels like just yesterday we were all starting alongside each other, but it now comes for my time to part from the Lt. Governor position. However, this doesn't mean the end of Key Club! Key Club is YEAR LONG! Make sure to do service for the end of the year and this summer as it will all count for the upcoming term! For all the new officers, I know you'll do amazing, and make sure to plan ahead and execute! For the members, I know you'll do great next term as there is still plenty of awards, scholarships, and service hours to catch. REMEMBER I will still be here as a resource for ALL OF YOU! Keep in touch grizzlies <3 For the last time, L-O-V-E I LOVE MY DIV!

It is almost the end of the term and sadly Lieutenant Governor Antonio is soon going to retire. But do not worry because I will make sure to carry on and strengthen this division even more! I am beyond thrilled to serve each one of you for the next term. I have many plans in store to help this division grow such as plan more division events for members to enjoy as well as help the community, educate officers over the summer so that they are prepared for when school starts, create an effective DLT, and much more!! I can't wait to see all of you again next year! I hope that I can make this year a spectacular one for everyone. Have a BEARY great day grizzlies! :)

Spotlight On Service MARCH OF DIMES "We believe that every baby deserves the best possible start. Unfortunately, not all babies get one. We are changing that." Through generous funding and assistance from the U.S. public, March of Dimes has been tremendously successful in discovering the genetic causes of birth defects, promoting newborn screening for health concerns, educating medical professionals about healthy pregnancy procedures, and much more. With these things in mind, it’s abundantly clear why the Cali-Nev-Ha District has chosen to partner with March of Dimes, in hopes of bettering the lives of infants across the United States.

SERVICE PROJECTS ** Confirm donation rules & guidelines with any hospital that you plan on donating items to prior to hosting your event. Some hospitals do not allow donations for newborn babies as a baby’s immune system is still new and could be too weak against potential germs on any donated items.

BABY SOCK DECORATING

NO-SEW BABY HATS

Materials: • Baby Socks (no design/solid color) • Fabric Paint (variety of colors) • Rubber Bands • Bags/Containers

Materials: • Colored Cardstock Paper • Pens • Markers • Envelopes

5) Place all socks into a bag and/or other available container.

4) Collect the cards and turn them into the hospital that you contacted.

5) Donate the socks to your local hospitals for premature babies to wear. (Make sure to contact the hospitals beforehand!)

C O N C L A V E ABBY TRAN // LINCOLN Conclave is an event that allows for new Lieutenant Governors for Division 27 for the 2020-2021 term. Conclave began with a speech from each of the elect’s respective Division followed by a 3 minute caucus section. Once all of the elects handled their speeches and did an outstanding job, it was all up to the delegates to decide who would be the new elects for the new term! After the delegates discussed their opinions with their homeclub and decided their picks, it was time to decide who would win! After a long wait, it was revealed that the winners were... Seabass Flores from Division 27 North and Colin Kang from Division 27 South. It was such a positive and thrilling mood after as everyone congratulated the elects. The new term is slowly approaching but it seems to have a great start!
