CONGRATULATIONS TO OUR LTG ELECT Jamie Lynn Phan

So excited for next year!! Let's goo Jamie!

Hello, Division 27 North! Being elected as Lt. Governor has been one of the most significant accomplishments I have ever made for myself and for others. During my freshmen year in 2019, I would look at Antonio Quesada (2019-2020 D27N LTG) and think to myself, “Imagine being an LTG. I want to do that” without any seriousness. Three years later, I made my dream happen as I developed a deep connection to this club, it’s members, advisors and impact. I am ecstatic to be given this opportunity to serve my community and to lead Division 27 North into another term full of goodness and evolution. I hope that I will make you all proud. Don’t ever hesitate to reach out to me if you want me to reiterate any of my tentative goals and plans for my term once DCON rolls around! I am always looking to be a supportive friend to my fellow bear cubs ʕ•ᴥ•ʔ!

Articles & Visuals

The Applebee’s Fundraiser was located at 2659 W March Ln, Stockton, CA 95209 from 9:00AM to 11:00AM. This event occurred on January 9th and volunteers were required to come at 7:30AM for training. You must be over 14 years old to serve guests, roll silverware, and bus tables. Middle College Key Clubbers could sell tickets and the op seller would earn a certificate and a prize. All sellers will enter a raffle and ticket sellers must request the amount of tickets they need from Treasurer, Britney Le. Ticket sellers would be liable for each ticket sold so if a ticket is missing, you would be responsible to pay the full $10. Tickets were sold for $10 for a plate of food that would include pancakes, syrup, butter, sausages, orange juice and coffee. This event was scheduled to take place from 8:00AM to 10AM, but due to a miscommunication with the Applebee’s owner, it was shifted from 9:00AM to 11:AM. Many people came to support Middle College Key Club and that includes, Mr. Mercado, Mrs. D, our LTG, Hailey Phan, our sister division, LTG’s Kirsten De Jesus, and many more! Volunteers and the people who purchased tickets enjoyed this event. There were eight volunteers in total, and we were able to earn $65 in tips! With that being said, Middle College Key Club was almost able to sell all the tickets for this event and raised $297 for club funds. A special thank you to our Treasurer, Britney Le, for setting up this fundraiser, Mrs. D, and anyone who volunteered!

The Stockton Kiwanis Annual Crab Feed was located on St. Basil Greek Orthodox Church. This event occurred on January 15th from 5:30-9:30PM. Volunteers were required to wear their mask at all times, have their hair tied up, and the attire was black or white. Volunteers were able to hang-out in the backroom as dinner service would start at 7:00PM. Doors were opened to the public at 6:00PM. The price for one person was $55 or $500 for a table of 10 people. The Stockton Kiwanis President, Richard Vasquez encouraged key clubbers to reach out to family, teachers/staff, or advertisers to help promote and sell tickets. These ticket sales would help raise money for projects and more events in the future. Each volunteer would be in charge of three tables. Salads and bread with butter were served as an appetizer, followed by pasta, and unlimited crab as the main course. Around 8:00PM, the raffle for gift baskets took place. Middle College Key Club had a basket bundle that was auctioned for $140! Towards the end of the dinner shift, ticket purchasers were encouraged to tip volunteers as the money would go towards DCON funds.
