Hi Hi My Grizzbaes !! It’s the time we all have been waiting for … summer !! I hope you all remain safe yet still take the time to have fun before the start of the school year. I can say with confidence that you all can look forward to some in person Key Club events in the near future !! Check out the June Calendar and keep in tune with our social media for more information. Until then, continue to work with one another to plan for the future school year. It will definitely be an exciting year with a huge learning curve to it. I look forward to the spontaneous nature of this term and experiencing it with you all <3 Yours truly, Hailey Phan

- Jennifer Pham, Middle College “The Friends of the Library is a service event members to volunteer in person and follow safety guidelines. Volunteers are required to wear a mask, gloves, and to stay six feet apart. Since it is a non-profit organization, all profits from the books will go to the library. The owner, Jeff, would greet you with his wife Lauren and would give volunteers different tasks to do around the library. Jeff encourages the volunteers to get a feel of what the library is like and to memorize where all the books go from different genres including hardback and paperback. Volunteers learn how to price books and learn the history of the library. If the library gets cluttered, volunteers are encouraged/expected to tidy things up and figure out ways to organize them. The most challenging job was sorting the books by the author since it took time and patience to figure out where each book would be placed. Old books would be placed into the back while new ones would go in the front. Laura would assist volunteers with tasks as they were completed, and volunteers had to keep an eye out for specific books to be placed in specific sections.”
