The Summer Olympics DCM was held in Cortez Park, on July 14th Here, many members came together to participate in a variety of games and activitiestobeattheheat, inadditiontowitnessing many moments where Division Officers were dunked! It personally allowed me to get to know other officers from schools in the district and become more comfortable with the Key Club community. Having shared a similar experience, SouthHills’seventcoordinatorMandyGuansays, “ThoughIhavebeentoaDCMbefore,Iactually didnotknowwhattoexpectformyfirstSummer Olympics DCM, and especially as an officer this upcomingyear!

BonitaKeyclubboardalongsidemembers of the club took a creative approach by producing a captivating parody of the songHotToGobyChappelRoan.
The video was crafted for Bonita’s club rush at the beginning the school year which included catchy tunes and a showcase as to what makes Ky Club special. The behind the scenes was that the project was a fun and hilarious endeavor.

On Friday, July 19th Walnut Key Club collaborated with STEMsters at the Holy Trinity Lutheran Church in Hacienda Heights. Key Clubbersintroducedtheconceptof elasticity to the children using everyday examples, such as rubber bands and springs. They then provided the children with materials to construct their own miniature trampolines. Each child receivedasetofpopsiclesticks, hot glue, apieceofcloth, andamarble. Ellies assisted the children in this hands-onactivitywhichprovideda practical demonstration of elasticity, revealinghowthetension in the cloth surface affected the marble's bounce. The children not only learned about elasticity but alsoenjoyedtheprocessofbuilding and testing their miniature trampolines. Cabinet leader, LawrenceJustates,
