Message From The

Lt. Governor

IWhat's Poppin, Narwhals! With only less than 3 months left of the 2019-2020 term, I am beyond grateful to say that I have served you as your LTG and this position has been one of the greatest honors. Watching you cheering your hearts out at Fall Rally and embracing our newly elected Lt. Governor Carter Kawaguchi has brought me and the DLT so much joy! Throughout this term, I have seen you all experience your Key Club moment and lead others to reach the same satisfaction from this organization. You have all developed as stunning servant-leaders, amazing volunteers, and caring friends. Without all your hard work, the goals we have accomplished as a division could not have been reached! Now is your chance to experience some very notable Key Club events: Rose Float Decorating, Movie Night DCM, DCON 2020, and ICON 2020. Make the most of your years in Key Club and feel free to reach out to me whenever you need. Happy Holidays!

Swimming in Service, Sasha Avakyan

Your Service Moment Take the Time to ask yourself what community service means to you? what does leading people to lift up their homes, schools, and communities means to you?

Whether it is or ins't the holiday season, never forget to help and cherish those around you!

"To me, community service is a means of communicating and understanding what my community and our world needs from our future generation. Often times, we think human progress is based on moving to the next step- creating and resolving the next issue. However, we need to look at how we can be present and change the world visibly aroud us" -LTG Sasha Avakyan

K-Fam Breakfast Recap

On December 14th, 2019, Division 42 East & West held a Pancake Holiday DCM & Conclave with all the branches of the Kiwanis Family. All of the dollar donations and sock drive items are going to the Kiwanis Family House! In addition, we elected our next Lt. Governor Carter Kawaguchi from Newbury Park High School!

Rose Float Decorating Wait, what?

Why?

A special invitation is given to all the branches of the Kiwanis Family to participate in the annual Rose Float Decorating at Phoenix Decorating in Irwindale. Volunteers will get the chance to work with materials from flowers to beans on a series of floats!

Want to meet some Key Clubbers from across So-Cal? Want to do more community service during your winter holiday? Then this event is for you. Your hardwork in decorating these floats will be featured in the annual Rose Float Parade that you can watch from the very comfort of your home.
