What’s poppin narwhals! Happy Summer Break! I hope you and your families are all staying safe and staying healthy. While you might not be able to go out and party it up at the mall or with your friends, our summer doesn’t have to be any less fun! We might even be able to throw some service in it! Hopefully you all had some fun June at our June E-Olympics DCM! I know that I was personally sad when the Tokyo 2020 Olympics were cancelled, so I hope the event helped to fill your competitive spirits. Thank you to all who came! Furthermore, I hope to see you all at our upcoming DCM and OTC both of which you will find more information about in this newsletter. D42E’s DLT and I are working hard to make the most out of this situation and keep our Key Club passion and spirit alive. Also, congratulations to all the graduated seniors! We know that you are all going on to serve the world! Stay healthy and stay strong, narwhals and hopefully I will see you all soon! Swimming in Service,

Hey Narwhals! Congratulations on making your way to the end of this school year! Summer is here and I hope you can all enjoy it in a fun, but safe way. Thank you all for participating and bringing service in Key Club during 2019-2020. Hopefully, the events created fun memories on top of granting plenty of service hours. Stay updated both divisionally and locally in what Key Club has to offer during Summer break as we will still be bringing you service events you can be working on for either/both hours and enjoyment. For the following term, I will do my best to provide the information needed as well as communicating with you guys in events next year! Even though the next school year might have a rough start, I hope you all will continue to participate in Key Club, and if you are a senior, I hope Key Club gave you the experience and service you needed. Hope to see you all again next year! Swimming in Service,

On May 30th, D42E held second virtual DCM where we held a Netflix Party while also bringing service by writing cards to our advisors throughout the DCM. During the beginning of the event, we were able to meet new members by holding break out rooms, where members were split into small groups allowing Narwhals to learn more about one another. In addition, we were able to recognize our members who have been active throughout the month and ended it by watching Princess and the Frog.

PTP or the Pediatric Trauma Program is a program that was made to educate and to help prevent injuries and training in pediatric trauma. It was established in 1994 by the Kiwanis CNH Foundation. Pediatric trauma is the leading cause of death and injury in the United States for children that are 14 years or younger, and 90% of these unintentional injuries can be prevented! The main goal of PTP is to reduce the number of children who are injured or killed due to trauma. The money raised for PTP is distributed to different areas. Local Kiwanis Clubs and SLP clubs provide grants to our partner hospitals ( and distribute safety items and equipment, such as bicycle helmets and electric outlet covers. Your club can support this amazing organization by hosting events such as Educational Events, Spirits Gear Donations, Restaurant Fundraisers, Car Washes, Bake-offs, and much much more! If you would like more information regarding PTP go to the CNH Cyberkey.
