Letter From The Lieutenant Governor
What’s Poppin Narwhals?! I hope all of your summers have been going great so far! The heat is doubling down every day so make sure to stay cool and hydrated. Moving on, I would like to thank you all for attending the our “Olympics-TC” and July DCM! Throughout your busy schedules and summer break, the fact that you take time for Key Club is always greatly appreciated. There were plenty of great presentations to learn from and I hope you all took something away from each of them.

Now that we are done with OTC, we are hopefully going back to events in person starting with our Avengers Assemble August DCM! Check your emails and the Division Instagram for more details on that but get excited!!
Make sure to mark your calendars for the next big event, RTC or Region Training Conference! We are set to have RTC on September 25th, 2021 but the time and venue is still TBD. Stay tuned for more details. We are also going to be announcing the service project for August very soon so make sure you participate in that to rack up those service hours! With that being said, I hope you all stay safe, get vaccinated as soon as possible, and enjoy the rest of your summer!

Hey Narwhals! I hope everyone is having a fantastic summer thus far! As the heat comes in, be sure to stay hydrated throughout your summer celebrations. I want to start by saying thank you to everyone who came to OTC. It was so much fun, and I hope everyone was able to learn something new! As in-person events start to occur, I can’t wait to begin in-person service projects with everyone. Keep your eye out for the monthly newsletter to ensure you don’t miss any events and you are up to date with the latest Narwhal News. Speaking of events, mark your calendars for RTC and the August DCM! Also lookout for new service projects to start getting those hours in! That being said, please be sure to stay safe and get vaccinated so we can all get back to the Key Club we love . “OLYMPICS -TC” D2429 D42W D42E Saturday, July 17th
We had our Officer’s Training Conference on July 17th, 2021 from 11:00 A.M. to 2:00 P.M.! I think it was a huge success and the turnout was fantastic. Unlike previous years, we did not do OTC just within our division but we did it as a Region. In our region, Region 10, there are three divisions: D24/29, D42W, and D42E.

Our theme this year was the Olympics in honor of the Tokyo Olympic Games 2020 happening on July 23rd. We got many compliments from members and advisors about the presentations and the content so I am very glad that everyone enjoyed the event!

JULY DCM D42E Saturday, July 17th
The July DCM also occurred during OTC at 12:55 and went on to 1:15. We discussed what the DLT have been working on during the month of July and what to expect to see from them! We also went over each clubs reports and discussed Old Business. LTG Neharika Logeshwaran and Member Recognition Coordinator Geetika Peddada also announced the monthly recognition to celebrate some amazing Narwhals! All in all, it was an amazing DCM and we thank every Narwhal who attended to make it extra special!
