LTG MESSAGE
Letter from the LTG
Hello Narwhals! There's only less than 2 months left of the term! I don't have a lot to say this month other than finish off the term strong and do the best you can to reach the goals you set this term! Reflect on everything you have done and I really only have less than 2 months to serve you all as lieutenant governor. Please attend the last events I have left as Lieutenant Governor! Also, if you're interested in DCON please consider going because it is such an amazing experience! See you at the February DCM!

DCON Information
April 12-14 in Ontario, CA You should definitely consider on attending DCON (District Convention) because this is an opportunity for you to be able to meet Key Clubbers from all over the California-Nevada-Hawaii District! Not only will you make new friends, but you will also be able to build your leadership skills and have a fun time at workshops, join the celebration of what the District has accomplished this past term, elect the District Executives for the next term and see the retirement and installment of the District Board! DCON is such an amazing experience and is personally a Key Club moment of mine, and hopefully, it will be yours too! If you are interested in attending, please let your club president know! -LTG Michelle Le

CLUB RECAP
Royal High School
To start the new year off we have hosted a shoe drive at Royal. One of our very own board members, Spencer Mcmillan, is hosting a shoe drive at Royal which will be donated to Havasole. A few of our key club members have been helping set-up for this donation drive and they have already received a whole bucket of shoes. Participants in this event will be put into a raffle where they are eligible to win a $50 gift card!

CLUB RECAP
Agoura High School
This month, Agoura’s Key Club made Valentine’s Day cards for Cards for Hospitalized Kids. We tried to offer positive and encouraging messages and create interesting designs to help people celebrate the holiday. This is an organization that we have made cards for in the past and the activity was a good way to get members engaged in the club during our meetings.

For the Troops Some of our Key Club volunteers trooped on in to help the troops. They made care packages to send to those protecting our country. When asked about the experience, Tiana Mastrella said, “Being able to go and make care packages for those who are serving our country makes me glad knowing that I can help those who are fighting for our country. Thank you to these volunteers for serving the troops, and thank you to the troops for serving our country.

Rescue Mission These Key Club volunteers didn’t miss the opportunity to help serve food to the homeless at the Ventura County Rescue Mission! When asked about the experience, Tiana Mastrella said, “It’s so great to go every month with Keyclub and see the impact we can have in people's’ lives by taking a few hours of our day to help serve meals to those in our community”. If their goal was to provide good food and warm service, then mission accomplished!

CLUB RECAP
Simi Valley High School
In the past month, our members had been busy. We volunteered at Vista Elementary’s SweetHeart Dance on February 1st, helping with the photo booth, drinking station, and clean up. They also had the opportunity to help out at the Sombrero Race by handling the different water stations and cleaning up afterwards. It was the perfect volunteer day with the sun out! We also had a few new members attend the conclave which was great since they were able to participate in voting for next term’s LTG!
