LETTER FROM THE LTG Hey Red Pandas! Every month it seems like I keep repeating the same thing, but each time you all make me prouder by every passing day! As of now, our division has a total of 6,859 service hours and have raised $3,000 for charity. WOW. For those of you who don't know, this is MUCH more than the average division has as of now currently, and considering the fact that we have less members shows how much each and every one of you have been working for our division. Also, because of this I decided to raise our original goals of 9,000 hours and $5,000 for charity to 11,000 hours and $5,500 for charity because I know for a FACT that you are all capable of achieving this. Best part is that if the division reaches these goals by April, I will go an entire DCM/event getting pied consecutively for free, and I have to continue running the event without reacting. I know how much you all love seeing me in pain, so this is your chance! But in all seriousness, you have all made me the proudest LTG in this district. I can't remember how many times I've ended up talking about how happy and impressed I am to see you all make so much progress, and have other district officers and advisors congratulate D46N for the achievements we've made. I genuinely am so happy to serve you all and truly appreciate everything you've done. I know we will all end this term by putting all of our remaining effort into these last four months, and I can't wait to see how you surprise me yet again!

LETTER FROM THE DNE Hello hello hello Red Pandas! It’s finally winter and I am so excited for fuzzy socks, hot cocoa, holiday movies, and lots and lots of service! As the holidays approach, many opportunities to give back to the community and put some warmth into the cold winter days pop up. Sign up for a food drive, a toy drive, help someone else in need, this season is all about giving. While keeping warm, consider the future. What are your plans for the future? Are you graduating, or are you just getting started? Are you hoping to be an officer next term? Do you know who’s running for Lieutenant Governor? Conclave is just around the corner, and the term is flying by, so it’s time for us to work even harder. Our division goals have been raised, so let’s finish off strong. Our goal by April now 11,000 hours and $5,500 dollars raised for charity! Let’s try our best to meet and exceed these goals, we aren’t done yet! As for your life outside of Key Club, as finals approach and the school year is halfway through, remember to try your best, but also remember to take care of yourself. Take this winter break to spend time with loved ones and unwind from the stresses of school and work. Have a wonderful winter, Red Pandas. I’ll see you next year.

Spotlight on Service:

Providing Basic Needs The holidays are all about fun, love, and spending time with family. However, many children throughout our district and the world do not have the privilege of celebrating the holidays in a home. So, rather than forget those less fortunate than us, CNH is encouraging us to truly get into the spirit of giving this year, the spotlight on service theme for this month is Providing Basic Needs, By providing basic needs, you lay a foundation for a better quality of life. How you choose to tackle this months’ spotlight is up to you, but some service ideas include: supply drives, (whather it be food, clothes, bedding, sanitary products,, etc.), fundraising and donation to organizations that provide such basic necessities, and helping make and build these necessities as well. December is truly a month for giving, so give it all you got, Key Clubbers!
