This is a perfect hot spring resort to warm up and relax in during the winter months! Some of the facilities at this world class resort include an indoor pool, outdoor lazy river (open in the winter!), blazing sauna, and even Doctor Fish to exfoliate your toes! Another popular area is the event spa which rotates depending on the season and can include ginger, green tea, or mandarin orange peel infused water. Fri Eden Valley Ski/ 30 Dec Snowboard Day Tour DESCRIPTION Eden Valley is the closest ski resort to Daegu and a perfect spot for the first run of the season. Start taking lessons or just have a blast on the slopes. This smaller resort is well designed to disperse skiers and snowboarders and offers beginner, intermediate, and advance runs. For family or friends who want to spend the day at the resort but have no interest in skiing or snowboarding, there is a base lodge with food and coffee, tubing and even sleigh rides. Sat Outdoor Spa Tour 31 Dec & Ice Festival DESCRIPTION This hot spring has a beautiful, natural outdoor area with large boulders, pools of water, and waterfalls. The indoor area has kid’s areas, slides, and lap pools. Outside the water resort, this area is known for its tourist complex which includes a theater, amusement garden, botanical garden, taxidermy pavilion, and a Hawaiian Park. Every third Saturday of the month, join the Community Activity Center staff and volunteers on our Subway Adventure Program! The adventure begins Saturday, 17 December, 0915 from Camp Walker Army Lodging. Along the way we will share with you how to purchase subways cards and tokens, navigate and ride both subway lines and the monorail, explore Seomun Market and the downtown area including Dongseongno the busiest street of downtown Daegu and explore some of Daegu’s famous alleys such as Yasi-golmok Alley, Gyoding Market Food Alley, Gyodong Market Electric Device Alley and coffee Shop Alley and how to return to Camp Walker on the subway. Please bring money for the subway, food and shopping. The adventure begins after the Cam Carroll bus arrives at Camp Walker Lodging approximately 0915, we will return to Camp Walker by 1530.
