Do you know your golf rules?
Question: Everyone knows you aren't
allowed to reconfigure adjustable clubs during a round. But if a weight loosens in the course of play, can you tighten it? Or must you live with the rattle until the round is finished?
Spring Round Up & Horse Shoe Golf Tournament BUSINESS OPERATION
19 & 20 May / Pro shop > Two person team event > Best ball and scramble format > $40 per player does not include green fees, cart, prizes, food, and fun > Sign up today in the EGC Pro Shop
Answer: Yes, the Rules of Golf do permit you to tighten a weight mid-round, assuming the weight was loosened during the "normal course of play"-i.e., not as a result of intentional smashing, hurling, snapping, etc. Rule 4-3a gives you three options: (1) Keep using the club as is; (2) Fix it, assuming you can do so quickly; or (3) Replace it, assuming the club can't be played or fixed.

Parent and Child Playgroup
Tuesdays, Camp Walker Community Activity Center, 9:30-11 a.m. Theme: Super Science / Ages: 0-5 For optimum development, young children need a stimulating environment to play and learn. Playgroups offer babies, toddlers and young children a variety of early learning experiences. Playgroup is a great way for your child to learn about the world, make friends and develop social skills. Playgroup also gives moms, dads, grandparents and caregivers a chance to share ideas and experiences. Many long-term friendships begin at playgroup. Playgroup develops physical skills, teaches problem solving, communication and social interaction and, of course, it's great fun! 28 Family and MWR

Find an extra chore that will help you become a better mover (sorting clothes to working on throwing skills; sweeping the floor to work on strength)
Take a walk. Each time you see a sign of spring do 10 jump for joy.
Using kitchen tongs, practice picking up wash cloths and carrying them to the other side of the room, run back and do it again.
Draw some lines outside using chalk. Practice jumping over them. Work on bending your knees and using your arms to get high and far. Also remember to land softly.
Say the ABC's by putting your body into the shape of each letter.
Log Rolls - find a safe space in your house and practice rolling in a straight, strong line. Use those muscles.
Rainbow Run. Talk about the colors of the rainbow and as you name a color run and touch three things that are color.
Practice your throwing skills. Find a big target and throw as hard as you as you can at it. Work on stepping right at the target with your "opposite" foot.
