ACS, Camp Henry Subway Tour 20 December, 0915-1530, departs from the Camp Walker Lodge Sponsorship Training 22 December, 1400-1500, Camp Henry ACS Classroom Become a qualified Sponsor or Spouse Sponsor, and learn the ins and outs of sponsorship in Area IV. Qualified Sponsors are vital to the successful reception of incoming Soldiers. To be an effective sponsor, you must know what is expected of you and where to find the information incoming Soldiers are likely to request. All this information is provided monthly during Sponsorship Training at Camp Henry ACS. The training is short, informative and open to all active duty soldiers and spouses. Intermediate Korean Language Class Every Monday and Thursday, 1200-1300, Camp Henry ACS Classroom The intermediate Korean class is for students who have advanced from the basic Korean class. The class helps students further develop their Korean speaking skills by learning to properly construct and speak sentences. These classes are designed to help foreign born service members and spouses develop their English language skills with the help of sentence structure and conversation. Writing a Winning Resume Class The first Wednesday of every month, 1000-1130, Camp Henry ACS. Create an effective resume or improve the one you already have. Transform your resume into a powerful tool that will get you interviews. Federal Resume Class The second Wednesday of every month, 1000-1130, Camp Henry ACS. Federal Resumes must have sufficient information and be well written to be considered well qualified for positions. Information on the resume will be used to determine series and pay grade you will be placed in. Learn how to create an effective Federal Resume. Interview Skills The third Wednesday of every month, 1000-1130, Camp Henry ACS. Learn how to present yourself in an interview, how to dress appropriately and how to provide relevant examples of your accomplishments. Daegu ACS Craft Class Every Thursday, 1400-1600, Camp Henry ACS Classroom. This class is for beginners who have an interest in Korean traditional Hanji Craft.

Classes are held to help any Korean, military, or civilian employed by the U.S. Army, who wants or needs to improve their English speaking abilities. By learning pronunciation, sentence structure, and conversation, students will be able to enhance their English speaking abilities, and be able to communicate better with American personnel. Computer Class Every Tuesday, 1000-1130, Camp Carroll ACS, AKO Room Computer classes are designed to help student’s master Microsoft Office programs such as Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Students learn the fundamentals of Windows and how to use Windows application programs and basic computer structure.

The class is designed for students to experience the beautiful Korean art of Hanji along with a brief explanation of its history. Calligraphy Class Every Friday, 1000-1130, Camp Carroll ACS Training Room Learn the Korean tradition of artistic writing in Hangul or Hanja, respectively the Korean alphabet and Chinese characters, with traditional black stone ink and oriental art brushes. December is a time to celebrate families and traditions. The Camp Walker CDC will be celebrating with families on Dec 18th at 1030 am. We will hold our CDC Winter Program followed by a Family Lunch. All CDC parents and Family members are invited to join us. We will also be hosting our Annual Gingerbread House Event. Children, Families, individuals, groups and classrooms are welcome to submit a gingerbread house. For the event we will be making the houses in the classroom, please see your classroom newsletter for dates and more information. The CDC still has openings for children from 6 weeks through Kindergarten age. We invite you to come visit us and enroll your child in a program that will help them to grow and explore.
