CYS Services School Age Center The new year has arrived and we are having a blast at the School Age Center. We are excited about our new look at SAC. We have new paint on the walls, new furniture, new carpets, new roof, new flooring, and a new kitchen. It was a long few weeks but it's now completed. We would like to say thank you to all of the parents and kids for their patience and understanding while this project was being completed. The center looks great. Stop in and pay us a visit anytime. JANUARY WE WILL BE BACK ON TRACK WITH ALL OF OUR REGULAR PROGRAMS. Power Hour: Power Hour is a dedicated quiet time for children to work on homework together or independently. We also have staff who assist the students with their homework needs. This program is offered Monday-Thursday Movie Madness: Is on Tuesdays and Thursdays. This is an opportunity for small groups of children to get together with their friends and watch a movie from our movie library 4-H Fridays: Fridays are dedicated to 4-H Clubs. Each SAC child is a member of a 4-H club. This is a chance for our children to learn new skills, develop new interests and grow their leadership abilities. Book Club will be starting a new book and the Exercise club is learning their winter work out. It's exciting to see these young folks taking initiative and joining these beneficial clubs. We have hourly care space available for families in need of occasional care. These slots fill fast especially over the holidays; so if you need to reserve a space please do so quickly.
