Camp Carroll Indoor Aquatics The Community Recreation Division recently made changes to our Sports, Fitness, and Aquatics Program that we believe will help create a more sustainable recreation model. What does this mean for the customer? Improved service and better experiences. Though these changes are aimed at improving and delivering value added programming, we recognize that we implemented these actions without fully communicating the changes that are to occur. We apologize and ask that you help us in our endeavor to improve. Family and MWR understands the importance of aligning our services to meet the needs of our customers and we are committed to making customer driven decisions. During this time of transition, please be mindful of the following: Aquatics The Camp Walker Aquatics Center will implement daily swim fees: $2 for authorized U.S. ID Card Holders and $5 for Guests. We hope to offer seasonal passes in the near future for a smoother and easier process. The Camp Carroll Indoor and Outdoor pool will be temporarily closed for renovation. We hope to re-open both pools during the Spring Season and update the community on the status of completion. In the meantime, we invite you to make waves at the Camp Walker Aquatics Center. Fitness Center Recently, there have been a number of concerns regarding the Fitness Class ticketing process. Though we do not plan to return to the ticket book system, we are exploring alternatives for a more streamlined approach. We have temporarily implemented actions we hope will provide solutions to customer concerns. We have added an additional computer for express transactions, and customers are able to purchase more than one ticket at a time. We encourage patrons to arrive 10-15 minutes before class to ensure sufficient time for preparation. Please be mindful, ALL Fitness Center patrons are required to swipe in during EVERY visit. Advanced purchase of tickets do not exempt customers from swiping in upon arrival. If you do not have your card, please see the front desk Fitness Center Staff for assistance, we will be happy to help. For more information on how to expedite and personalize your visit, ask the gym staff about creating a Household Account. We are confident in these changes and their ability to provide a better experience and we appreciate your patience, cooperation, and continued support. We are committed to enhancing our facility space and providing programming to meet you fitness needs. For more information regarding closures, class times, and fees please visit our Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/DaeguFmwr/?ref=hl or pick-up a copy of your monthly FMWR Outlook. Why it pays to SWIPE Your SWIPE Counts Family and MWR Programs use secure online technologies at many of the Army facilities you use every day. You can support your local MWR with a simple SWIPE of your ID Card. Many recreation centers, fitness centers and other FMWR locations at your garrison participate in the SWIPE program. Look for a kiosk or scanner at the entrance to one of these facilities. By swiping your CAC card (or other form of identification if appropriate), you’re giving us valuable information to support improved access to services, expand program offerings and make facilities better.

SWIPE is:

Smart- Help determine which programs and services you want. Worldwide- Ensure quality of life programs and services are available worldwide. Interactive- We depend on your input to identify where we can make improvements. Promise- Help MWR fulfill our promise to provide you with quality programs and services. Enhancements- You have the power to make our services and programs even better. 58 FMWR Outlook
