Patrick Sullivan

Patrick Sullivan is such an inspiration and does incredible work through his brand Modern Day Horsemanship. In April 2021, Patrick began Gamilah Unbridled, a several month event where Patrick rode his horse Gamilah from California to Kentucky bareback and bridleless. Connie Conis

Connie grew up on a family farm in central Iowa. They raised POA ponies and so her "training" experience started quite young. From 4H, to rodeo, and open shows/western pleasure.,you name it, she did it. When she was 14, she decided she wanted to pursue eventing and purchased her first OTTB, Striker, for $1. It was Striker that showed her how large her passion was for rehabbing/retraining Thoroughbreds and her deep love for dressage and eventing. Flash forward 12 years and she’s assisted in the rehab/retraining/rehoming of over 50 OTTBs. Her love for dressage has grown deeper every year and she’s now introduced warmbloods into her program as well. Connie currently runs a small lesson/training/breeding program in central Iowa specializing in dressage and lower level jumping. She’s had the fantastic opportunity to ride with multiple grand prix/upper level riders and international riders including Cyndi Jackson, Jami Kment, Camille Judet, Missy Fladland, Alexandra Duncan, Leif Aho and more. Her goals are to continue through the levels of dressage and head toward FEI dressage.
