Damjan Momirovski graduated from the Faculty of Architecture in Skopje in 2009 with high average grade of 9.00. Following his graduation he worked for eight semesters as a Teaching associate at the Faculty of Architecture Skopje. He continued his career in the private education sector, at the University American College Skopje - Faculty of Architecture and Design, where he worked as a part time Teaching associate for six semesters. As of spring 2012 he is employed on permanent basis at the Municipality of Centar in the Department for management and urban development of public land and protection of the environment. As a member of several informal teams of architects, he took part in different architectural projects and some of them were rewarded on local and international architectural competitions. He took part in a group exhibition in New York, USA in September 2011, introducing Macedonian architects to the American audience; in August 2012 he collaborated on the exhibition that represented Macedonia at 13th Venice biennale of architecture, and most recently his work - a photograph of a brutalist building in Skopje, was featured in the 2018 exhibition in MoMA titled “Toward a Concrete Utopia - Architecture in Yugoslavia, 1948–1980". His fields of interest is analysis of the contemporary changes in the social and natural environment and how those changes and trends influence and redefine the architecture, the public spaces and the city in general. In fact this is the core research of his ongoing master thesis and project.
