Design Research/ Reference Imagery
The work
I researched into the products that they make and the ethos that they adopt.
Logos
I looked at a range of existing logos, and was asked in the process to look at the logo for habitat skateboards and maybe try to take inspiration from there.

I started by trying to incorporate quite natural textures to try and create earthy tones but felt that the design looked to tacky. They originally picked the logo above but I didn’t like it so I decided to re do it, gathering my inspiration from the skateboarding logo.

Final Design
For the logo that they now adopt I tried to make something that can stand alone without text and still be memorable. I was able to take the ‘homegrown’ literally and designed my logo around this.
Applying The Logo
I applied the logo to a t shirt and a wood carving to help show the company how the logo can be applied across different media.
