Linda S. Marzialo, AIA, ACHA Principal-in-charge ABOUT. In 1981, Linda Marzialo joined Gould Turner Group as a project manager where she managed and designed many of the firm’s largest projects. In 1991, she was promoted to President of Gould Turner Group, P.C. and in 2005, became the firm’s CEO. For over 30 years, Linda has specialized in architecture and is one of few architects in the State of Tennessee to hold certification by the American College of Healthcare Architects. Registered architect in 43 states, she has served on the boards of the American Institute of Architects Middle Tennessee Chapter and the Nashville Healthcare Council. Linda currently serves on Design Professionals Risk Control Group (DPRCG) peer review committee, DPRCG’s Practice Management and Education Subcommittee, and is the current President of American Institute of Architects Middle Tennessee Chapter. As the leader of Gould Turner Group, Linda is actively involved with each project while supporting the firm’s strategic initiatives, training and development, quality assurance, and business development. Wesley Medical Center, Children’s Hospital Wichita, Kansas The colorful project designed to engage children is a 43,105 SF renovation and exterior facade re-skin project that is Wichita Kansas’ first hospital dedicated to children. Smith Springs Elementary School Nashville, TN Smith Springs Elementary School was designed as a LEED certified facility. It’s design incorporates locally sourced materials, lighting controls, high efficiency windows, indigenous landscaping, pervious pavers, and other sustainable features.
Kingwood Medical Center Women’s and Childrens Center Houston, Texas The new 155,400 sf building uses a familiar palette of materials and simple design to welcome expecting mothers and families. Development included 3 new floors with a consideration to future vertical expansion.
