Man landing on the moon Text
“What happened in this event?” “How do I know what happened?” Wednesday, 12 March, 14
What happened in this Event? How do I know what happened? Neil Armstrong was the first man on the moon. He stuck the American flag on the moon to show how, step by step, he reached the moon. He landed on the moon in 1969. When he took off, I’m pretty sure people were anxious, nervous & excited as this was the first time anyone travelled to the moon, and also through space. I know about this because my dad told me about it.

9/11 attack
“What was the event?” and “How do I know what happened?” Wednesday, 12 March, 14
What happened in this Event? How do I know what happened? My mum was there when it happened. She was on a train that was going past, when she saw the smoke rising, and the towers. She had to miss her flight because of the accident. The towers fell, after 2 planes crashed into them. Tons of people died, from inside the towers, and from the plane. People on the road who witnessed it may have died when the towers collapsed, as some of them were right under the towers.

Hong Kong Hand over
“What was the event?” and “How do I know what happened?” Wednesday, 12 March, 14
What happened in this Event? How do I know what happened? I went to the HK History Museum during February, and looked at the history of HK. I was interested in how Britain handed HK over, so I had a close look at that. Britain handed HK over in the 1980’s, and when I looked at the photos I saw people crying as they boarded the ship. It must’ve been sad. When HK was handed over, Hong Kong wasn’t the same, the buildings had different structures.
