The primary idea is understanding wine process as the dialog between geometries that distinguish the different spaces. This building serves as a medium-scale winery.
The main three geometries create a division in the stages of winemaking, all while generating a central shape in diagonal axis, isolating the “heart of wine making; the vinification vats.
The spaces are also divided in relation to private and public areas. The configuration of the building allows for a simple navigation, at the same time, it highlights the stages of wine making taking the guests step by step.

The Alba is an optimal shading device, mimicking heliotropism. To rotate, the Alba is programmed with a motor located in the base of the structure. It is equipped with photo-voltaic panels attached to the steel trusses; collecting sunlight- providing nocturnal illumination. Not only can this innovative device be utilized in Toronto’s lakeshore, but it can also be adapted into various locations around the world due to its prefabricated design and easy assembly

The ability of light manipulation is an essential element in architectural design. while a surplus of light can negatively affect one’s experience, The Alba generates an opportunity to create exceptional and functional environments while protecting people from intense sun rays. The locally resourced and recycled materials allow for low environmental impact.

The Elevated Horizons project aims to enhance the laneway experience through the use of green spaces and elevated laneways. In this project, a social role is played as it encourages the community to get involved. The
community is provided with tasks that enhance responsibility, working in a team, and teaches kids how they are currently helping the environment and to potentially continue sustainable practices for future generations

INFLUX brings attention to the imbalance of plastic to reusable bottles in our daily lives. The organic form embedded into the built corner frame, via the use of plastic bottles, uses the element of light to create an influx that will create a repeating pattern as the focal point of the installation. Establishing a clear contrast between the sheer number of plastic bottles in comparison to a singular reusable bottle is a simple yet powerful that will communicate the main message in a clear manner

INFLUX aims to bring attention to the imbalance of plastic to reusable bottle usage ratio in our daily lives. For a single reusable bottle used for a year, it could stop the waste of 365 plastic bottles. The organic form embedded into the built corner frame, via the use of plastic bottles, uses the element of light to create an influx that will create a repeating pattern. This repetition will serve to bring attention to the metal bottle which is the focal point of the installation. Establishing a clear contrast between the sheer number of plastic bottles in comparison to a singular reusable bottle is a simple yet powerful that will communicate the main message in a clear manner.

The NIA Center for the Arts is an opportunity for the community to create a safe place to manifest artistic and cultural freedom, as its name translates to a purpose. It is a place to meet and exchange feelings, ideas and emotions through music, dance , painting, sculpting and theatre. The centre benefits the community, by improving their quality of life, and fulfilling part of an active plan for urban development of the Eglinton (& Alameda) area while still abiding by environmentally conscious requirements. The NIA Centre presents an opportunity for the Afro- Canadian community in Toronto to reminisce and reconnect with the roots. The centre also creates a safe environment for cultural freedom where people can exchange feelings and ideas through music, dance, painting, theatre and more. It also creates an opportunity for community involvement which improves quality of life while fulfilling part of an active plan for urban development on Eglinton.
Through architecture, the goal of the NIA Centre is to bring the Caribbean to Toronto and to enable The Afro- Canadian diaspora to connect with their roots through interactions in the building.
The faรงade of the building was inspired by the sound waves of a reggae song as reggae music is part of their Jamaican roots, as the
