MC 1718

That is a sleeping dragon. Let him sleep ! If he wakes, he will shake the world. —Napoleon

Dear Na'onal Plenary, I am glad that you are reading this. No ma8er if you decided or not, it shows a fire inside of you for AIESEC in Mainland of China. Before I opened this applica'on, I want to share a story to you.

WORDS FROM MCP 1617 Carnival ding

I s'll remember last year, when I saw only 7 individuals applied for the MC in 1st round, I was overwhelmed with emo'ons and honestly, speechless. What has happened to the leadership pipeline of this en'ty, to con'nue its growth and progress to achieve greatness? More importantly, did people s'll believe in the purpose and value of this organiza'on and its future? That was where i promised to the na'onal plenary that this will never ever happen again. During the past few months, us as the MC dragon Team 16/17 have put in our best efforts to present you who are we as an MC, as leaders and as individuals. I strongly hope you have go8en an insight to the day in the life of an MC, from our key milestones, achievements and personal growth. We as an MC heard the call to adventure and accepted the challenge, what is yours? As you read through this applica'on, I encourage you to really have a deep reflec'on about your mo'va'on to apply for MC team. Ask yourself Why do I want this for AIESEC MoC and for myself? As one of my favorite quote says, “clarity of mind means clarity of passion”, I sincerely wish you the very best of luck and hope you can gain further clarity of your passion to AIESEC. With clarity of your purpose coupled with the right knowledge, skills, and aTtude, you will definitely have a fruiUul leadership learning year with the organiza'on. Lastly, AIESEC is special because it's an organiza'on that does not belong to anyone individually, but belong to each youth in the past, current and future genera'ons. So on behalf of Member Commi8ee 2016-‐2017 of AIESEC in Mainland of China, I hereby announce AIESEC MoC MC 2017-‐2018 Applica'on officially open. Best of luck. Sincerely Yours CHAO DING President AIESEC in Mainland of China 2016-‐2017
