To what extent does Aesthetic ‘Style’ reflect the context, audience and/or function of contemporary Graphic Design? Questions more relevant to what I want to look at. How has graphic design become popular amongst contemporary clothing? Since the beginning of the academic year I have become more interested in graphic design around fashion. Something that I want to do in the future is to create my own fashion label therefore I decided to choose a question that relates to both graphic design and fashion. I have been especially interested in the designs of the clothes and how graphic design is used on clothing to help promote fashion. After getting an internship with Bloodbrother in London I got into producing graphic design onto clothes, very much like Bloodbrother. Two designers that studied both graphic design and ended up in a fashion business.

As well as looking at fashion publications as publications is something that I have grown to love and do within my practical points on the course. I intend to learn more about fashion and why it is constantly changing but especially how trends start. Being very into my fashion I am not very aware as to why or how fashion changes so quickly in todays society therefore I will exploring ways to examine what is currently in trend and why is it.

For my practical I was thinking of creating my own graphic design/ fashion clothing brand as this is something that I want to do in the future. Therefore I would get a better understanding of it before I go into the real world. I also intend to look at fashion publications as it is something that I have an interest in and would like to potentially explore further next year. Althought I am still very unsure of what question I want to explore, I am very confident that fashion is the topic that I would like to go further in.
