The negative versions of the logo must be applied to a black or dark coloured background for total legibility. In some particular cases it colud be empty, whic means it could have the same colour of the background on which it is placed. The negative version can be also used for engravings, stamps, stensils, laser cuts/drawnings and other uses where colours are not needed.

The logo is easer to read if the area around is enough big. The minimum space between the logo and other elements (text, photos, illustrations) is specified in module ‘a’, as seen in the image on the right. This is to be considered the minimum, so the surrounding area can be increased as much as preferred, but cannot be reduced. The minimum height of the total area for the logo + the minimum surrounding area is 15 mm.
