From $18.48 million cliff top residences in Kangaroo Point through to $6.15 million sky homes in New Farm, Brisbane has seen a flurry of top-end, exclusive, luxury residences sell over the last few months. Despite several of these top-end results selling to buyers from interestate and overseas, it is local interest that makes up the majority of purchases. The rise in demand for prestige homes, good locations and larger lots, comes at a time when many are of the belief that the broader middle market across Brisbane is showing signs of slowing a little. Interestingly, for our inner western suburbs that we feature in this report there was no such slow down. Right now our inner western suburbs of Chelmer, Graceville, Sherwood, Indooroopilly, Toowong and Taringa continue to see strong buyer interest. Buyers moving for lifestyle.
