WELCOME to my latest report on PROPERTY for ARANA HILLS & EVERTON HILLS Tips and predictions. As we launch into a new year it is hard to miss the newspaper articles and blog posts forecasting what will happen to the real estate market in 2017. There are certainly a lot of opinions, statistics and commentary out there. In fact, if you google search for it you will find about 3.8 million indexed results to read through. Now, that’s a lot of reading and if you are trying to work out if moving this year is the best for you the prospect of gathering some more market information can not only be daunting but also it downright confusing. For the sake of clarity and to put it simply, the local real estate market Brisbane wide remains stable. House price growth throughout 2016 was modest but trended
up throughout the year and in most suburbs, the average price of a house has increased by around six per cent each year for the last ten years. There are several reasons why Brisbane has maintained such a stable level of growth for the last decade and given the current sentiment out there with sellers, buyers, banks and politics, it is unlikely that we see a huge swing of change anytime soon.
