Hello and welcome With the second quarter a wrap, Brisbane has again continued along its path of being the most consistent and stable market for growth in Australia. The Brisbane market, especially when compared to the Sydney and Melbourne markets, offers so much more affordability. This is intensifying demand, particularly from investors and as the PIPA (Property Investment Professionals of Australia) Chairman said, “I think on the whole it’s going to be an affordability story, there’s an almost seventy per cent difference in median value and only a seventeen per cent income difference between Brisbane and Sydney.” So combine this with continuing greater economic improvements across Brisbane during the last twelve months and there is an expectation that our housing market will continue solidly from now through to the end of 2018. On first meeting David, I knew straight away he would be my agent to sell our house. He had such a warm and friendly first impression, we instantly built a good repore. David’s knowledge of the local area and sales history was impressive! On appointing David & Phebe as our agents, we received some devastating family news which caused us to postpone putting our house on the market. The sincere empathy shown from both David & Phebe reminded me why I chose them to sell our house. A few months later and we decided to put the house on the market as our eldest boy was starting Prep in 2017 and wanted to move into the local area of his school. Once I made contact with Phebe, the process was seamless and proceeded with haste. Our photo package was remarkable, the house was listed late on a Thursday afternoon and our first open house was that Saturday. The feedback from David was extremely promising and then on the following Monday we had 2 seperate families trying to out bid each other. The final offer exceeded our expectations of price by thousands. Initially there was a hiccup with who we chose to sign a contract with but Phebe quickly ironed out any potential issues for a quick sale and worked hard to ensure we were going to get top dollar without consequence. After our house was officially under contract every step of the way from building and pest inspections, to finance and unconditional Phebe was constantly in touch keeping me informed. Phebe and I also formed a great repore, so much that she made me feel at ease to talk to her about my personal issues. I met up with both David & Phebe for a coffee which turned into a 2 hour chat. I felt so comfortable and at ease in an extremely stressful and emotional time in my life with both of them, I felt like I was talking to good friends. I would not hesitate to highly recommend to anybody in the Warner area to talk to David & Phebe. Whether you’re buying or selling – they’re an EXTRAORDINARY TEAM.
