The Current Market Affordability continues to drive Brisbane’s property market, trickling through the inner-city suburbs with growth prediction in the innereast corridor. The property market in the inner-city fringe has been remarkably active, with buyers looking to purchase a vast variety of properties. 2017 has revealed results that highlight the fact that properties located close to the city centre of Brisbane, especially those in the mid-to-top end price range, remain in demand and are consistently recording positive sale price growth with quick returns. Currently our main suburbs of focus including Camp Hill, Norman Park, Coorparoo and Greenslopes continue to see stronger buyer

interest. Market conditions have provided an average capital gain of 34 per cent combined over the last five years due to interest rates and tighter market supply. Lifting off with eager buyers looking for investment properties, family homes and downsizing opportunities, 2017 thus far has shown a strong market flow which we are confident will continue throughout the rest of this year. Brisbane buyers look to the inner-city as one of the most forgiving capital city markets throughout Australia. Nonetheless, the current economic status continues to infer a healthy Brisbane market.
