jocelyn frost welcome to my latest western suburbs PROPERTY MARKET REPORT A property report on recent sales activity and changes to the property landscape for residential property across Anstead, Pinjarra Hills, Pullenvale, Brookfield, Kenmore Hills, Kenmore, Chapel Hill & Fig Tree Pocket.
2014 was a solid year for property with the combined residential market in Australia increasing by an estimated $500 Billion to now stand at around $5.7 Trillion.
Through the year transactional volumes, the number of reported sales, peaked in November and the total Queensland marketplace saw growth of 6.2% when compared with full year 2013 results.
The Brisbane residential property market recorded value growth of 5.8%, in 2014 which came on top of a similarly healthy performance in 2013 of 5.2%.
Even as migration and population growth are easing, demand from foreign markets and in particular China are tipped to grow throughout 2015. Coupled with the current tight levels of supply, this continued strong demand will increasingly add to upward price pressure over the coming months.
And while some pundits might lament that Brisbane has missed out on the boom-like levels of growth that Sydney and Melbourne both recorded last year and in 2013 the fact is that Brisbane is extremely well positioned to realise some impressive growth in 2015.
tipping that rates won’t change until early 2016. If you find yourself contemplating a move this year and would like to discuss how you can best make the current market work for you then call me as I would love to be of assistance. All the best, Jocelyn Frost 0414 490 270
The forecast for interest rates is that the RBA is tipped to hold them pretty tight again in 2015 with three of the big four banks tipping up to two rate cuts in the first half of the year with only CBA

what my clients ARE SAYING...
Embracing Experience... As a real estate agent — and someone who has brought and sold properties for my own family — there are plenty of strategies we can adopt to achieve a successful sale. From different campaigns to suit certain types of houses, tailoring effective advertising to the right audiences to keeping in touch with contacts, not every sale is the same, which is why I work closely with clients to best meet the needs of people as well as their properties.
Helping Tracey and Tony move was a great experience and it was a privilege to help them move from their family home of 32 years, an architecturally designed (Sevitt and Petit) split level home nestled on a quiet and leafy Chapel Hill block. With the right message clearly aimed at the best buyers, I knew it was going to receive strong interest and it ended up selling quickly. “We never felt pressured by you and after one open house we had interested buyers and a contract. You made what is a stressful time much less so and for that we are grateful” Tracey added.
Selling can be stressful and few people enjoy the stress of feeling under pressure. I believe that a partnership with open communication can help the whole process run more smoothly - I am there for you, every step of the way. “We would happily recommend you to friends as an agent you can trust” said Tracey. As the ‘person in the middle’, it is a privilege to help people move on and make the journey satisfying, rewarding and positive. Call me today and let me help you make the same satisfying, All the best, Jocelyn Frost 0414 490 270 jocelynfrost@remax.com.au jocelynfrost.com

“We would like to thank you for your help and support during the sale of our house. From the start you were honest and realistic in your appraisal, and your advice regarding the presentation of our house and suggestions on little improvements to make it more
attractive to prospective buyers were helpful” said Tracey and Tony who recently sold their Chapel Hill home.
