It’s a new year on several fronts. The 2017 calendar is well and truly underway and as of January 28 we welcome in a new lunar year as well, the year of the rooster. But regardless of which calendar concerns you the most, there is no doubting that for many of us, a new year means a fresh start. Even the WA economy is tipped to sparkle a little more this year with a host of experts tipping that we will see a new pace of growth during the next twelve months. More stable and consistent, our economy is expected to grow and this renewed confidence is already having effect on our local property markets. Greater Whitfords property performed well in 2016 and continues to attract strong buyer interest. Notably, Kallaroo as reported earlier this month by REIWA, was one of the strongest performing Perth real estate markets having recorded a 19.1 per cent improvement in median house price between January and September 2016. As the area continues to attract enthusiastic buyers, we expect that both Hillarys and Kallaroo will perform strongly in 2017 and with the stage set for a solid year in local real estate, now is the time to be moving. But while all this encouraging talk offers a level of confidence and certainty, having a well thought out plan will make your move even more rewarding.
