Spring is in the air…. Already!!! I can’t believe how quickly it’s come around. We really haven’t had much of a winter and already we have buyers looking at finding their dream home and being in for Christmas. With a slightly slower start to the year than anticipated we are now seeing an increase in confidence coming back into the market. With the election over and with interest rates still low (the lowest in 50 years) buyers are positive about getting into the market and all indications are we will see a strong finish to the year. Spring is typically the biggest selling season in the year and if you are looking at selling, between now and summer, it’s vital that you make your property stand out from the others. This can be accomplished in several ways from sprucing up the gardens, de cluttering, paying attention to the details and importantly knowing your market. Having a clear understanding of the buyers looking at your home and effectively marketing to them will help you to achieve the highest price possible. As you know, Brisbane is a great place to live and with while most sales are made to local purchasers the renewed enthusiasm from investors considering options outside of Sydney or Melbourne is starting to have an impact on demand and therefore prices.
