Home ownership levels across St Lucia show that just over 42% of households own outright or have a mortgage on their homes. The balance of the marketplace is mostly rented and with an average of 2.5 residents per dwelling. Nearly 57% of all dwellings in St Lucia are units or apartments.

Largely regarded as one of Brisbane’s most exclusive and affluent suburbs St Lucia has evolved from somewhat humble beginnings as farming land to the highly
