Home ownership levels across St Lucia show that just over 42% of households own outright or have a mortgage on their homes. The balance of the marketplace is mostly rented and with an average of 2.5 residents per dwelling. Nearly 57% of all dwellings in St Lucia are units or apartments.

The battle of the sexes is very even across St Lucia with the balance ever so slightly in favour of females with 50.7% of the total population. Just over 52% of St Lucia residents were born in Australia with China (5.6%) and Malaysia (4.9%) at number 2 & 3 respectively.

Approx 10 x transactions = We are a busy suburb of professionals with a huge 77.4% of residents having at least one tertiary qualification. A diverse and well educated suburb 37.9% of households speak more than one language at home. Other than English, Mandarin is the second most spoken language.

The median weekly income per household is $2,505 for families without children and $3,337 for those with children. With a large number of apartments/units it is not suprising to learn that most residential properties have only two bedrooms.
