Coming into the new year, it was hard to miss the articles and blog posts forecasting what will happen to the real estate market in 2017. House price growth throughout 2016 was modest but trended up throughout the year. In most suburbs, including Norman Park, house prices have increased, on average, by around six per cent each year for the last ten years.
