Die Brillen tauschte er gegen Liftkarten und testete somit sein Produkt höchstpersönlich. Herausgekommen ist die damals erste Skibrille mit abschließenden Gläsern und einer belüftenden Schaumkonstruktion. Heute Standard – damals revolutionär. Im Mittelpunkt unseres Tuns steht die Freude am Schneesport. Unsere Kleinsten fangen mit 7 Jahren an und im Laufe der 8 Schuljahre in Lech ergeben sich die individuellen Talente. Diese gilt es zu fördern. WELCHE TRAININGSANGEBOTE GIBT ES? D A N I E L H U B E R : Vom „freien“ Skifahren über Techniktraining bis hin zu New School/Freestyle und natürlich Rennlauftraining. Wichtig bei alledem ist immer die Qualität der Trainer und der Trainingsbedingungen. Ein großer Dank an dieser Stelle an die Skilifte und an all unsere Unterstützer im Ort!

W I E S I E H T D I E Z U K U N F T A U S ? W I R D D I E E RFOLGSGESCHICHTE DES SKI-CLUBS ARLBERG WEITERGEHEN? D A N I E L H U B E R : (lacht) Davon gehe ich aus! 80 Medaillen bei Olympiaden und Weltmeisterschaften – das ist schon was. Es geht natürlich weiter. Es stehen viele Talente aus verschiedenen Bereichen im wahrsten Sinne des Wortes in den Startlöchern. Vergangene Saison konnten bei Österreichischen Schüler- und Jugendmeisterschaften Alpin sowie im New School-Bereich einige Medaillen gesammelt werden. Neben Siegen bei internationalen FIS-Rennen von unseren Jugendläufern war der Junioren-Weltmeistertitel im Riesentorlauf von Nina Ortlieb das Highlight. Wir sind sehr stolz auf unseren Nachwuchs! D A N I E L H U B E R : (Laughs) Yes, I'm pretty sure it will! 80 medals in Olympic Games and World Championships – that's quite something. Of course, we will continue to build on our success. We have a great deal of talent waiting in the wings in a number of different areas. Last season at the Austrian School and Youth Championships we managed to win several medals in both the Alpine and Newschool categories. Aside from victories for our young skiers in international FIS races, Nina Ortlieb's Junior World Champion title in the giant slalom was the highlight. We are very proud of our young talent!
