GENERAL EDUCATION DIPLOMA
Qualifications
Details GED® credential is equivalent to a high school diploma and covers these four subject areas: • Mathematical Reasoning • Reasoning through Language Arts • Science • Social Studies Both English and Spanish GED® tests are available.
Must be between the ages of 18 to 25 AND Must have dropped out of a Texas public high school (proof required) OR Must have signed out of a Texas public high school to be home schooled but did not receive diploma (proof required) OR Completed 12th grade but did not receive diploma.

The North Texas AEL program through Denton ISD hosts GED classes every semester with classes offered in the morning or evening free of charge.
