Your “home away from home”, a place where you will enjoy gathering and relaxing with friends. We hope that you will enjoy your Membership to the fullest and take advantage of all of the excellent facilities. We know that the Club will quickly become one of your favorite places and we are happy to have you as part of our membership family. Our staff will always make you feel right at home as well as provide you with excellent service. Club Website, Mobile Application & Wi-Fi WEBSITE Step 1 Go to www.dbycc.com Step 2 Enter your username (membership number found on your membership card), spouses/partners must add the letter “S” to their member number in order to log in. Ex. 20850s Step 3 Enter your password, which is your last name starting with a capital letter followed by 123. You will then be prompted to update your password. Our Arnold Palmer Signature Course In keeping the Arnold Palmer tradition, the Deering Bay golf course is skillfully carved out of its natural surroundings to create the most picturesque golf course in the area. Each hole offers both a visual and tactical playing experience, combining water, mangroves and wildlife. An experience that can challenge even the best player. Tee times are required: In season and off season you can always call the Golf Shop at (305) 256-2500 to make your tee time starting at 8:00 am on weekdays and at 7:30 am on weekends. Golf members can access the tee sheet through the Club’s app. Membership golf privileges: Full Golf Equity Unlimited golf with sign up seven days in advance. Tennis Equity Golf tee times are available four times during season from November-May with payment of green fees and a four day sign-up notification. Unlimited golf privileges during the summer season from June-October. Associate Unlimited golf privilege during the summer season from June to August with sign up three days in advance. Preview Golf Unlimited golf with sign up three days in advance.


Dress code: Deering Bay Yacht & Country Club is a soft spike only golf club. Shirts must have a collar, turtleneck or mock turtleneck (as approved by PGA tour), sleeves and tucked in. Appropriate golfing shorts, pants or skirts. This policy applies to all areas of the golf course, including the driving range and putting green. Clinics: Clinics are offered to all Members on a space available basis. Members must reserve their spot in advance to insure an adequate number of teaching professionals for each session.

World Class Tennis Training & Programing An active lifestyle is an integral part of membership at Deering Bay Yacht & Country Club. Deering Bay has seven lighted Har-Tru courts for day or night play. Private and group lessons, as well as clinics, are available for members and guests by our tennis instructors. Consistent with every other aspect of service at Deering Bay, special requests are warmly received and we are delighted to make introductions amongst members of similar caliber. Tennis court reservation procedure: All members are strongly encouraged to reserve a court in advance. Tennis courts may be reserved via phone (305) 256-3366, email p.leon@dbycc.com, or in person at the Tennis Shop. During inclement weather, court nets will be dropped and play prohibited. Guest fees: A $10 fee will be charged per guest per day. Shot maker ball machine by Sports Tutor: The ball machine may be reserved in advance in either half or full hours sessions. The usage of the ball machine is complimentary. Tennis dress code: Proper tennis attire is defined as items specifically designed and sold for use on a tennis court. Shirts do not require collars provided they are officially branded with a tennis logo. Only tennis shoes made for clay courts are acceptable. Gentlemen are not permitted to change shirts while on the tennis court.


coUrT inFormaTion: Seven well-maintained Har-Tru tennis courts are just the beginning of the tennis program at Deering Bay. The courts are groomed daily and lighted for night play. Additionally, Deering Bay maintains strict limits on the number of members to preserve easy and simple access to the courts, even during prime times. Deering Bay members can enjoy our seven Har-Tru tennis courts as they please, however the following guidelines apply: • • • • • • • •

All members and guests must check-in at the Tennis Pro Shop before entering the tennis courts. Prime time playing hours are as follows: 9AM-12PM weekdays and 8-11AM weekends. Reservations are required for weekend prime-time play. Players with reservations will always have priority. A ten minute grace period is in effect for those with reservations. Failure to check-in within the allotted grace period will result in cancellation. Guests must be accompanied by a member. Members may invite the same guest four times per year and must register each guest in the Tennis Pro Shop. Appropriate tennis attire is required. No bathing suits, cut-offs, running shoes, basketball shoes, sleeveless shirts (men), tanktops (men), undershirts, tube-tops, workout clothing, halter-tops or extreme crop-tops. Shirts must be worn at all times, men must wear either collared or tennis related t-shirts Ball machine use is not permitted between 9-11AM on the weekends and one-half hour before the Tennis Pro Shop closing time No children under the age of 16 are allowed to play unless supervised by an adult. No pets allowed on tennis courts.

A Taste On The Bay Deering Bay’s magnificent 30,000 square-foot clubhouse is a haven for friends and family to come together in an exclusive world of gracious and elegant living to savor life’s most privileged pleasures. Members can expect the same courteous, discrete and respectful service from our private dining rooms whether visiting the Club for private dining with clients in the wine cellar, enjoying the cell-phone-free dining area, a casual lunch with friends on the golf terrace or refreshments in the bar. Our two outstanding dining rooms, and additional patio seating on the terrace, make the clubhouse an ideal location as a corporate or social event venue that offers a variety of choices of ambiance ranging from casual to formal in which to enjoy a wealth of culinary delights that will please the most discriminating palate. Each day begins with a complimentary continental breakfast followed by an extensive lunch service. Dinners at the Club are an ever expanding experience where perfectly prepared entrees arrive in little time. Sourcing the highest quality ingredients, including freshly caught local and international seafood, the finest cuts of meat and Maine lobster, is a small indicator of the lengths to which Deering Bay’s Executive Chef and the team will strive to meet and exceed member expectations, including superb special events and thrilling theme nights. Our culinary experts will ensure that your dining experience will be unforgettable time and time again.


Deering Bay Yacht & Country Club is a non-tipping club. This is effective for all areas of the Club including but not limited to: • Valet • Golf staff (including cart and range personnel) • Food & Beverage staff • Women’s & Men’s Locker room attendants DRESS CODE: Our Florida casual dress code (to include jeans and shorts of appropriate length) is permitted anytime in the Bar area except for shorts are permitted until sundown. T-Shirts are not permitted in any dining area after 5PM but may wear appropriate collarless dress shirts and sweaters at all times. Blue jeans are not permitted in the Main Dining Room after 5PM on Saturdays. Workout clothing is permitted at the Continental Breakfast service until 11AM. Gentlemen are expected to remove their hats whenever entering the Club’s dining areas. These rules apply to all members who are 12 years of age and above. RESERVATION POLICY: Please make reservations for Brunch, regular dinner and special events. This allows us to plan better and serve our members more efficiently. Reservations are not necessary for lunch, unless you would like the staff to prepare a table for a party larger than four guests.


Security Guardhouse Procedures & Car Barcode MEMBER ACCESS All Members will receive a barcode to access the Deering Bay Front Gate, we will affix a barcode to their vehicle and will need the following information: • Member name, address, email and phone number • Membership number • Description of vehicle (make, model, year, color) • Driver’s License number • License plate number If the Member doesn’t want the barcode on their vehicle they are welcome to drive up to the security guard and present their driver’s license or member card for entry upon each visit to the community.

Car barcode for members living outside the gate: The Member will need to bring their vehicle to the Clubhouse front desk. accoUnTing Monthly Statements are mailed the first week of every month. Your statement will include your respective monthly House charges and any itemized charges made to your account through the statement closing date. Tickets are not included, however, if you have any questions please contact the Accounting office. The due date for remittance is the last day of the month. You may pay your Initiation Fee and Annual Dues with a check or ACH. You can also set up an automatic deduction from your Bank account or Credit Card for your monthly House charges.
