Give us a brief history and overview of your company.

With 20 years of professional design experience, I found my roots in the hospitality sector designing bars, nightclubs, and restaurants with an evocative, unexpected, and glamorous flair. But what I was missing was relationship. Stepping into residential design, I found my calling.

What inspired you to pursue this line of work?

I love the process of design, the thrill of the hunt, raw creativity, and the satisfaction of everything coming together; but what I value most is my clients. I take great pride in building enduring relationships grounded in trust.

What services do you offer?

Dana Bass Designs offers remodel, new construction, furnishings, and consultation services in the residential and commercial sectors. We often complete full home remodels for working families and for those who are renovating second homes or vacation getaways.

What is your philosophy as it pertains to the work you do?

With an intuitive approach, I create spaces that are refined, playful, luxurious, and unexpected. My signature style is infusing textures with patterns, layering elements and mixing vibrant colors to create dream spaces for my clients.

What do you feel distinguishes you from your competitors?

My highest priority is that each client’s space reflects who they are and how they function in their home. I try to cultivate a creative dialogue with my clients and their homes. Working between the two, I honor the history and architecture of each project while masterfully mixing distinctive furnishings and artwork in luxe, yet eminently comfortable homes. My designs are highly intuitive, well-planned, and wholly unique to my clients. I emphasize fun and creativity in my design—and in the design process.

What’s the measure of a successful project?

Happy clients! We love hearing, “You did everything I never knew I wanted, and it’s perfect.”
